Short bio (50 words)

Siddhartha Parmar is a Lusaka-based founder building energy, data and land infrastructure across Zambia. His companies include SpaceZ, Zambia’s first space company, and Quantum Hash Ventures, which places data centres beside rural hydropower. He is a former ITU delegate and a Halcyon Fellow.

Long bio

Sid started selling online from Zambia in 2006 and moved into platforms, marketplaces and directories from 2013. He later represented Zambia in international telecommunications forums and served as Country Director of the Zambia Business Angels Network.

Today he runs five ventures on one thesis: take a resource Zambia already has and build the missing layer on top of it. SpaceZ turns satellite imagery into decisions on crops, water and climate risk, and has won the SANSA Africa Earth Observation Challenge and the NewSpace Africa Pitch Competition. Quantum Hash Ventures anchors rural mini-grids with modular data centres. AgriNova delivers field-level advisory to smallholders, including a pilot with the Cotton Board of Zambia. The Zambian Outdoor Adventure Company trains mine rescue divers for the Copperbelt, and Nyimboo is a Zambian music streaming platform.
